In the full-scale simulators, the crane operator is seated in a cabin fully surrounded by an interactive world, which can be easily populated and configured by the instructor. The station includes a control monitor, keyboard and mouse; a colour monitor that provides the instructor with one of several views of the session; a colour printer for generating performance reports; a modem for receiving software maintenance and upgrades; and an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) to provide power to system computers in case of power failure.
