The Coretrax drillable brush is directly attached to the cement retainer or bridge plug to clean and prepare tool setting areas and save significant run time.
Setting a bridge plug successfully requires a clean area. To achieve this, some operators scrape the setting area before running the plug, which requires an additional trip in and out of the hole. By installing a drillable brush at the bottom of the CX-2™ bridge plug, the brushing can be done in the same run as the plug setting, saving the additional run.
