The Coretrax® Drillable Brush is directly attached to the cement retainer or CX-2® Bridge Plug to clean and prepare tool setting areas and save significant run time.
Setting a bridge plug successfully requires a clean area, so to achieve this some operators scrape the setting area before running the plug, which requires an additional trip in and out of the hole. By installing a CX®-Drillable Brush at the bottom of the CX-2® Bridge Plug, the brushing can be done in the same run as the plug setting, saving the additional run and in turn saving rig time.
