The Coretrax® Shear Swivel has two primary positions. In the stroked open position it allows torque to be fully transmitted through the tool. In the closed or sheared position, it acts as a swivel- isolating rotation of the string below the tool and allowing rotation above it helping achieve an effective wellbore clean up in a tapered casing string.
