The deployment bar is used to deploy long bottom hole assemblies into and out of the well. A deployment bar in the bottom hole assembly allows the capability of closing the BOP rams and slips for adding or removing a segment of the bottom hole assembly. This helps to reduce the amount of lubricator needed.
