The Vibration Isolation Tool (VIT) was designed for use when TCP guns are run with an XRVTM tool. The VIT protects TCP guns from vibrations produced by pressure pulses that are created when using a vibratory tool. It is designed with a mechanical dampening feature that was engineered to be in tune with the XRVTM frequency.
The VIT provides a safe means for running TCP guns in long laterals where it is necessary to use an extended reach tool.
