Swellable Packer System for Zonal Isolation
SwellRight™ swellable packers are a permanent packer solution suitable for many applications where a pressure seal or zonal isolation is required.
SwellRight packers help reduce well construction costs, extend well life, and improve well integrity. These permanent packers provide the long term stability and reliability required to isolate producing zones.
Typically used for frac isolation, Tendeka’s SwellRight swellable packers are a simple and effective zonal isolation solution for your compartmentalized frac application.
Our expert material scientists have developed proprietary elastomer technology that is field proven to deliver reliable isolation performance across a variety of temperature and salinity profiles. After swelling, the element retains its flexibility and is able to react to subsequent changes in well bore geometry.
The SwellRight range generates greater radial seal force than any other swell packer on the market and is the only water swell compound fully compatible with all completion fluids, including acids and brines. This technology is available with either oil or water swelling elastomers and uses patent pending technology to provide high performance over short element lengths bonded directly to the base pipe.
SwellRight packers are available in sizes from 2 3/8” up to 13 3/8” or custom-designed specifically for the well requirements. They are best suited to wells where the downhole temperature is between 32oF and 480oF (0oC and 250oC) and provide a differential pressure rating of up to 10,000psi. This enables the packer to perform in the most demanding open hole conditions.
All SwellRight packers arrive at the well site or customer’s warehouse in a ready-to-run condition.
