The Beagle® telemetry system transmits real time measurements and status signals between downhole tools and surface equipment. The PowerTrac® Advance tractor, PowerTrac® Stroker and the PowerTrac® Direct Drive Rotation tool, will all benefit from the Beagle telemetry system.
An internal bus system allows a numerous amount of sensors to be included for monitoring performance data such as application speed, position, tubing ID, pressure, force, temperature whilst operating the tool. This provides better control and understanding of the well situation thereby improving the outcome from operations downhole. When the PowerTrac® Beagle technology is fully implemented, the range of applications in terms of Integrated Operations (IO), will improve dramatically as even more detailed operational parameters may be displayed online.

•Communicates in both directions (up and down) while the tractor is running
•All sensors and control modules inside the downhole tool are based on a bus system, meaning that new features and sensors can be added easily
•A new software interface which is flexible and automatically adapts to the services run

•Accurate measurement of rotation and inclination of the tool
•Measurement of acceleration in all axes

•Independent control of all relays
